San Diego Padres manager Mike Shildt announced on Friday that Xander Bogaerts would be undergoing a position change.
The high-paid shortstop will be moving to second base this year, to allow Ha-Seong Kim to go back to the shortstop position.
Both Shildt and Bogaerts had a lot to say about this change.
In other Padres news, a key piece of the Blake Snell trade found a new home, while a former Dodgers All-Star could find his way to San Diego in free agency.
